Ok so several years ago I had a chihuahua that decided to UN potty train itself. So off I went and spent $300 on a upright steam vac... Made carpet very wet and didn't even get the stains that puppy left, needless to say returned vac and got rid of dog. Ok new dog and new stains... I read reviews and decided to give this a try... Oh My Godness...LOVE IT. 20 spots later and no wet puddles (slightly damp but went over w/ vacuume and 1 hour later dry), no stains and hands and knee test NO URINE ODER!!! Haven't tried the hand held yet but will soon in my car. Buy several bottles of the oxy2 & Little Green

At first I thought it was really handy to have around the house, especially with all the puppy accidents I've had but after having it for not even a year, it started leaking dirty water back onto my carpet I just tried to clean. I've been reading all the bad reviews to see if anyone else has had this problem but didn't see any. My husband took it apart to see if there was anything we could do and nothing. We even took it in to have serviced but the cost was not worth having it fixed when for a little more we could just replace it. I also feel that the suction is not great and like some of the other bad reviews it has left a circle stain on my carpet rather than cleaning the stain it was supposed to. I wouldn't recommend.

I've owned my spotbot for about 2 years now. I have never had a problem with how it works. I have used it to clean up blue koolaid, "accidents" from my son who is potty training, spaghetti sauce, you name it. I have cleaned upholstery in both my home and car with it. This machine has never disappointed me.

I have probably used it equally on the "spotbot" setting and also on the manual / handheld setting, depending on the size, shape, and location of the stain I'm working on. Both ways work well.

I see that some people have had negative experiences on here...I can truly and honestly say that this machine has never let me down. And believe me...it gets a LOT of use in our house!!!!! I highly recommend this for anyone with pets or children...but frankly we ALL make a stain once in a while. This will make your life SO much easier when those stains do happen! Just buy one already!!

I usually do not write reviews for products, I read them, and consider what is said, but usually do not write anything. However, this time I will. We have had our spot bot for a year now, and in our old house with used it a few times. It works better on carpet than berber. It also does a wonderful job cleaning matresses. But, the job that it just did is why I feel inclined to write. We spilled Red Semi Gloss Paint on Blue Carpet. Thank you kids! LOL Anyway, we first went over it with some water and the hand attachment, got the discoloration out, then with the formulas and oxy gen 2. There is NO STAIN. We just saved replacing the carpet in a very big living room. I am so glad to have spent the money to buy this. We have a lightweight full size, and I hate it. But I am very pleased with this.

This item did clean the carpet good but the handle/nozzle leaked continuously when using it and even when I wasnt. I used the cleaner to clean a spot from our dog and while using the nozzle my entire hand was wet from the nozzle leaking; but I left the cleaner out so that I could go back to the spot a little later and make sure it got everything or do it again if needed and where the nozzle was left lying on the carpet it was all wet. The spot did come out but I was disappointed with the quality of the nozzle.

We had bought this, being that there were stellar reviews. I don't know how long they had them for but ours stopped working in pieces.

We had bought it 1 day, plugged it in and no suction. Went back to the store to get a new one.

then


1st the brush attachment stopped working (5 months later)

2nd then the handheld device lost suction also. (2 months later)

3rd we have a plug-in paperweight.

It started off ok, but the suction area is too small (for pee spots is ok, but if your puppy has diarrea or such, you'll find yourself putting this bad boy about 3x in the same area to cover the full stain. The hands free concept is ingenious, but they need to work on surface area and reliabilty. It's my last product from bissel though....

I appreciate having this cleaner since I have problems bending down to clean spots manually and am unable to get on my hands & knees . . . and with two cats that throw up, I have to clean spots often! It does a decent job but I find it leaves rings that I need to remove by going over the area again with an upright cleaner. It does a much better job than my upright cleaner! Some spots still are visible, but this is mostly a problem with my carpet, not the cleaner.

This is a noisy little thing! Don't try to talk on the phone in the same room while it's running! And I find the constant beeps after it finished a cycle annoying and unnecessary . . . it is obvious that it is finished when the noise stops!

This is the best little spot cleaner there is, i have a shoppe where kids always spill drinks eventhough NO FOOD OR DRINKS ALLOWED this cleans it up, sometimes so well i have to clean the whole carpet lol. and i also have one at home for the pets and the pink bissel bottle of pet stain and odor remover is the best, works on coffee and coke stains too. whenever they wear out i will replace with another bissell.

I got my spot bot yesterday and I love it. I have already done almost half of my stains. I just got out a stain that was over a year old. Blue popscicle came out. Ped juice came out for the most part will try again later. It is a wonderful product. My carpet is only about 3 years old but I have 2 little kids, a dog, and a cat. I would recommend this product to everyone. I can't believe I waited so long to buy it. I don't know about all these other comments, maybe they got a defective part on theirs, but mine is a gem. Love it, Love it, Love it. Might get our family members all one next year for christmas.
